In order to reduce our direct emissions (scopes 1 and 2), we have worked on improving the energy efficiency of our offices, warehouses and stores. Between 2019 and 2024, energy consumption was reduced by 22%. Our premises in France, Belgium, Spain and Poland are now powered by renewable energy.
A series of actions have contributed to the reduction of our indirect emissions (scope 3), such as:
+ Choosing organic or recycled materials
+ Limiting air travel
+ Using innovations in textile manufacturing processes
+ Reducing the use of single-use plastics
Our goal
To reduce our greenhouse gas emissions
per unit produced by 40% by 2030
to align with the Paris Agreement
The use of chemicals of concern is strictly prohibited in the manufacturing process of our products. The list of prohibited substances is regularly updated and, as a precaution, includes substances that are authorised by regulations but are currently under investigation. Our teams carry out tests and checks to ensure compliance with this rule. This expertise is essential to guarantee the safety of our products.
When we use animal-derived materials, we ask our suppliers for a Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certificate, which prohibits cruel practices towards animals. If this certificate is not available, we request a letter of commitment including traceability back to the primary material supplier (farmers). Exotic furs and skins, as well as materials from endangered animals, are prohibited.
